Agents have arrested a confused man at the Oude Vest in Breda. The man would have attacked passers-by out of the blue and kicked a racket in a store, the police reported. For safety, they were present with several officers. The suspect was taken to the police station.

Motorcyclist crashes on A2
A motorcyclist was injured on the A2 from Eindhoven to Weert on Sunday morning. The victim was part of a group of motorcyclists. The 32-year-old Eindhoven resident who was shot Friday night at a house on the Titanpad in Eindhoven is out of danger. A police spokeswoman said this on Sunday afternoon. The man’s condition was still “very critical” on Saturday.

Cyclist injured in Beers
A cyclist was injured on the Grotestraat in Beers on Sunday morning. It is believed he took the bend too wide and collided with a bus. There were several people on that bus. They were not injured. The lanes of the A2 from Eindhoven to Maastricht were closed on Sunday morning around half past ten between the Leenderheide and Maarheeze junction after an accident. The closure led to a four kilometer long traffic jam, good for more than twenty minutes. Traffic was diverted over the hard shoulder. The road was reopened around 11 a.m.

The cyclist who was seriously injured on Saturday night after colliding with a taxi van on the Lunetstraat in Breda is a 23-year-old resident of Breda. The police made the announcement on Sunday morning. The victim was taken to a hospital.

A 27-year-old man from Oosterhout was arrested on Saturday night for driving while he did not have a driver’s license. Agents caught him on Mathildastraat in Oosterhout. Since this was not the first time, officers seized the car the man was driving.
