Up to four times a man crossed the A2 motorway near Valkenswaard last night to avoid arrest by the police. Officers wanted to arrest him, because of a theft from a truck earlier in the day. In their search, the officers saw him in bushes next to the A2. When the man saw the police approaching, he ran across the highway. In the end, the man crossed the street no less than four times in an attempt to shake off officers before he could be caught. The arrest was partly made possible by the use of police dogs.
