Traffic ended up in a traffic jam on the A2 from Eindhoven to Maastricht around one o’clock this afternoon. That happened because a car with a caravan scraped at Maarheeze. An ambulance was called for the occupants just to be on the safe side, but no one was taken to hospital. Both the caravan and the car suffered significant damage from the incident.
We managed to straighten the cars, after which we continued to the rest area ‘t Haasje in Maarheeze. There the accident could be dealt with further. A salvage company has been called to take away the damaged caravan.
The accident led to a small traffic jam from the Leenderheide interchange. In the opposite direction, a viewer’s traffic jam developed.
