A 54-year-old motorist from Oisterwijk pressed the accelerator pedal quite a bit too far last night when he drove on the Burgemeester Bechtweg in Tilburg. You’re allowed eighty there, but according to the police he was driving 138 kilometers per hour. He ran into the lamp during a video surveillance. The man received a warrant. He also had to surrender his driver’s license, police said this morning.
