An ambulance employee was assaulted last night on the Badhuisstraat in Roosendaal. A 23-year-old man from Willemstad has been arrested. He would have been under the influence. Things went wrong when the paramedics wanted to treat the man. Then the man kicked the paramedic. Officers intervened and restrained the man. Still, he managed to spit in an officer’s face. The suspect was arrested, but first went to the hospital for medical care.
