The police in Breda were busy on Monday with a number of assaults. A 25-year-old man from Den Bosch was arrested in the center. He had assaulted a man (22) from Woerden in a bar on the Grote Markt. A short time later, another man assaulted a 19-year-old woman. This also happened on the Grote Markt. The victim and suspect are known to each other. The man has not yet been arrested. Another hour later, a 26-year-old man from Libya was arrested on the Grote Markt. He was under the influence of alcohol, yelled at a cop and punched him. He spent one night in jail.
