A car ended up on the wrong side of the N640 on Sunday evening, near Oud Gastel. The motorist lost control of the wheel and then ended up in a dry ditch on the other side of the road. The fire department had to come to cut the car open so that the victim could be removed from the car. He was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
Part of the N640 has been closed to traffic for a while. The police are investigating.
