The fire brigade was alerted just after six o’clock on Tuesday morning for a fire in an apartment complex on the Epelenberg in Breda. One of the residents was injured and was taken to hospital, the other was checked, but nothing was wrong.
The fire was quickly extinguished. The fire brigade will check with the neighbors whether there are still problems and whether the apartment houses need to be ventilated. The cause of the fire, which was accompanied by quite a bit of smoke, is unknown. The house where the fire raged is on the fourth and highest floor of the apartment building. As a precaution, several police cars and an ambulance also attended the report.
