It was a good scare for a motorist on the Polderweg in Oosteind on Saturday evening. While driving, the man noticed smoke coming from under the hood of his car. He stopped the car in the carpool area. When he opened the hood, flames were already visible. He quickly closed the hood and called the fire brigade. But he couldn’t stop the car from going up in flames. The driver was unharmed.
