112 news: apartment fire under control • stolen shirts found again

A fierce fire raged in an apartment on the Egelstraat in Eindhoven on Wednesday evening, the fire was under control around nine o’clock on Wednesday evening. The fire started in the kitchen, and flames quickly erupted from the apartment.

The fire brigade had the fire in the complex out relatively quickly, but the smoke development meant that the fire brigade needed a little more time to secure the complex. Part of the flat was therefore evacuated because of all the smoke. Windows of the stairwell were smashed to allow smoke to escape.

No one had to go to the hospital.
