The man who ended up with his car upside down in the ditch along the service road of the N279 near Heeswijk-Dinther last night had been drinking too much. It concerns a 26-year-old motorist from Bergeijk, a local police officer reports. The man was able to get out of his car himself.
According to the police officer, he had hit another car before he left the road and ended up in the ditch. During an alcohol test, the man blew 515 ugl, almost 2.5 times as much as allowed. A report is being drawn up, the police officer said. The accident happened just after half past nine.
