10 p.m. – Man hit cyclists and left them injured: jail threatened
At the end of July 2022, two cyclists were seriously injured in Eindhoven after being hit by a car. The driver of the car then drove away. The man, an Eindhoven resident now 24, only reported to the police after more than a day and a half.
This Tuesday he had to answer for his behavior at the court in Den Bosch. The public prosecutor took it seriously and demanded a prison sentence of nine months. The man would also have to surrender his driver’s license for a while.
