A fire raged in a house on Anemoonstraat in Sint-Michielsgestel last night. Neighbors heard the smoke detector going off around a quarter past five at night and alerted the fire brigade. When they entered the house, they found a resident sleeping on the couch. The house was full of smoke. The man had put a pizza in the oven and then fell asleep. The fire brigade ventilated the house. The man was checked by ambulance personnel, but did not need to be taken to hospital.
