A 24-year-old man from Roosendaal was arrested on Tuesday afternoon after he took a weapon from his car during a traffic dispute on Laan van Europa. Based on his description, officers were able to pull him over to the side of the road moments later. The man admitted that he had a gun on him. It turned out to be an airsoft gun.
It is forbidden to have such a weapon with you just like that. The police therefore confiscated it. The man was taken to the station, but has since been released. He will be fined 500 euros.
