A fire broke out late last night at a house on Zandbosweg in Deurne. The fire raged in the thatched roof of a pump house, which belongs to the swimming pool in the garden. A specialist reed firefighting team from Elst in Gelderland came to Deurne to fight the fire. This team used special tools to remove thatch from the roof to extinguish the fire. How the fire broke out is under investigation. No one was injured. The house did sustain a lot of damage in the fire.
