In early November, police inspector Thomas Monjoie was killed in a knife attack while on duty in Schaerbeek. Last night another colleague was attacked with a knife. At around 11:30 p.m., officers encountered a minor boy in the Noordwijk who had run away from home. The underage perpetrator, according to our information an eleven-year-old boy, lashed out at the inspector with a folding knife in his hand. No one was injured in this. The boy was then released by the prosecutor’s office. “His situation will be monitored,” says Willemien Baert
