Marcel only relies on the work of volunteers to keep the extensive museum open. The collection of more than 76,000 historical pieces resembles a West Flemish version of Bokrijk. “I’m working on that day and night,” says Marcel. “It’s in my genes.” When the time comes, he also wants the domain to become his final resting place.
