10,000 euros for tip that leads to escaped TBS’er Sherwin Windster

The Public Prosecution Service is offering 10,000 euros for the golden tip that leads to escaped TBS’er Sherwin Windster. Windster shot Tilburger Mick Pitai dead in 2015 during a robbery that got out of hand. He escaped from a TBS clinic in June and has been one of Europe’s most wanted criminals since Tuesday.

This was announced on Tuesday evening in the TV program Opsporing Verzoeken. There would be indications that the forensic prisoner has been in Belgium, or is still there. “If you have any idea where Sherwin Windster may be or has been recently, please pass it on to the police,” the program said.

The Public Prosecution Service guarantees that if the informant provides the precise location of Windster, his or her name will not end up in a file. “You can, however, claim the reward tax-free.”

Manhunt
Windster escaped from the Pompekliniek in Nijmegen together with 24-year-old Luciano D. last June. D. was arrested in The Hague after a nine-day manhunt.

Windstar is still a fugitive. He was previously placed on the National Investigation List. He has also been on Europol’s wanted list since Tuesday. In 2019, Windster received 5.5 years in prison and TBS for extortion and the armed robbery in which Pitai was killed.
