A 31-year-old man from Tilburg was arrested on Sunday evening in the Korvel district. After a tip, the police found in the man’s house, among other things, a firearm, ten thousand euros in cash, an amount of soft drugs and luxury jewelry.
The man has been arrested for illegal possession of weapons, violating the Opium Act and money laundering.
The police received a report on Sunday that someone in the Korvel district was in possession of a firearm. Z immediately launched an investigation after which the man was arrested.
He has been detained and is being questioned by officers, the police said on Monday morning.
