100 synchronized swimmers return for performance after five years of absence

A hundred young people are preparing for an exceptional Easter weekend in Lago Kortrijk Weide. Many of them have never even witnessed a performance. It seems like an eternity ago that the Flamingos could once again show their sporting and artistic swimming performance to an audience.

“Everyone went on an internship during the Spring Break. If you want to participate in the show, that is a mandatory internship. That was 8 hours of training every day from Sunday evening to Friday evening. That was a very intensive internship,” it said. Bieke Demeyer of Synchro Klub Flamingos.

‘Flamingo’s Around The World’ will be performed in Lago Kortrijk Weide on Saturday, Sunday and Easter Monday.
