Colorado star forward Mikko Rantanen scored 2+2 when the Avalanche defeated the Anaheim Ducks in overtime 5–4.
With Tehoilla, Rantanen broke the magical 100-point phantom line. The forward has produced 54+48=102 in 79 games this season. This is a man’s record.
Rantas became only the third Finnish NHL player to break the 100-point mark in the regular season. They have done the trick before him Jari Kurri and Teemu Selänne.
This season in the NHL, nine players have already broken the 100-point mark.
