The joint collection by Moncler and singer Alicia Keys has been available since last week.
The collaboration’s designs were previously unveiled at London Fashion Week in February, when the American was at the Event Moncler Genius occurred.
The collection is inspired by New York, the singer’s hometown, the Italian luxury brand said in a statement. Roomy silhouettes in the style of the 90s meet bold colors such as green, red and purple. Keys draws on both female and male influences, creating an androgynous, gender-fluid collection. Influenced by Manhattan’s street style, the collection features roomy track pants, nylon pants and jackets, and oversized hoodies.
The singer describes her collection as “cool, laid-back, 100 percent New York—inspired by late ’90s streetwear but with a twist.” The accompanying campaign images show “a clash of two perspectives,” according to the release Photographer Ibrahem Hasan focused on New York as a source of inspiration. In a second series of photos, the focus is on the designer, who was photographed by photographer Laura Jane Coulson in colorful portraits.
