Due to the rising lifespan, more families can no longer pay their bills for food, rent, clothing, energy and school. The modest income they earn or the living wage they receive is insufficient. The federal government steps in: this summer it decided that PCSWs would receive an extra EUR 100 million when they join the “REMI system”.
