The video that first broke 10 billion streams on YouTube is the “Baby Shark Dance”. “Baby Shark” has been the most viewed video on the platform since November 2020. As of this writing, the video has 10,008,883,955 views and over 32 million likes.
For a long time there was a close race between the “Baby Stark Dance” and Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito”. However, the video is now far behind in second place with 7.7 billion views.
In the ranking of the most viewed YouTube videos, Despacito is followed by Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” and the video for “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth with 5.5 and 5.3 million streams respectively. Also making the top 10 most-watched music videos are Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” ($4.4 billion) and PSY’s “Gangnam Style” ($4.3 billion).
