Last weekend Spain was hit by a DANA with precipitation amounts of up to 200 mm. It’s Greece’s turn in the next few days. A similar weather phenomenon will cause unstable weather there with heavy thunderstorms. Some weather models predict as much rain in 48 hours as in 1 year, some even more. The weather service has already declared code red for large parts of Greece for both rain and thunderstorms. Some scientists are already warning of a climate catastrophe.
