Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05 has secured the services of Sepp van den Berg.
The Dutch U21 international comes to Bruchweg on loan from top English club Liverpool.
Schalke 04 had loaned the 21-year-old central defender from the Reds last season.
As the Mainz-based company announced on Thursday evening, “possibilities for a longer cooperation have been determined”.
Initially, however, van den Berg will only strengthen the 05s in the coming season.
