Came from St Gallen
Kwadwo Duah (25), who switched to 1. FC Nürnberg last summer, has attracted interest from Russia. Transfermarkt can confirm a report by Russian reporter Ivan Karpov that the Swiss attacker is the focus of CSKA Moscow.
While Karpov via Telegram reported that CSKA had made an offer for a loan including a purchase option in the amount of one million euros, according to TM information it is not that far: only Duah’s advisors from the “IFM” agency were contacted by the Russian capital club, but not the “club”. Only a very good offer could convince Franconia to give up their top scorer in the middle of the season and without the possibility of signing a replacement. In any case, it is unclear whether Duah would even agree to a change at the current time. Meanwhile, Russia’s winter transfer window is open until February 22.
The former Swiss junior national player switched from FC St. Gallen to FCN this season for a fee of 700,000 euros, where his contract is valid until 2026. Duah has played 22 games in all competitions to date, in which he has contributed six goals and two assists – a team best. With a market value of 1.3 million euros, he is also one of the most valued players in the squad.
