Only since the summer at the club
Jermain Nischalke (19) has already qualified for higher tasks after a few months at 1. FC Nürnberg. After three changes within two years from Union Berlin’s B-Jugend via Dynamo Dresden’s U17s and Chemnitzer FC’s U19s to the juniors at 1. FC Magdeburg, the Berliner with Angolan roots came to the “club” this summer. There he contributed 15 points in 19 games in the second team in the first half of the regional league. In October, Nischalke’s market value was raised to 200,000 euros – the seventh highest value in the league apart from FC Bayern’s juniors.
“Jermain has the tools to become a really good striker,” commented sporting director Olaf Rebbe on Nischalke’s development. The youngster himself said: “It’s a dream come true for me. I switched to the Valznerweiher in the summer with exactly this hope. Things went really well for me in the first half of the season in the regional league. Cristian Fiel put his faith in me, I’m very happy about that. I’m now trying to impose myself on the pros in training and I’m happy to be able to take the next step in my career here.”
Jermain scored this Regionalliga season #Nischalke already 9 hits. Now the 19-year-old has a professional contract with #FCN signed.
