Comes from St. Truiden
As expected, 1. FC Nürnberg made the transfer of Daichi Hayashi perfect. After Transfermarkt reported about an impending loan last week, the club has now officially confirmed it. The 26-year-old center forward is coming to the Middle Franconia from VV St. Truiden in Belgium for a year.
“We are very happy that Daichi will be playing for us in the coming season. We have closely followed his path over the past two years. In these two years he has inspired us with his mentality and his goal threat. Daichi is an absolute team player and will do us good with his qualities,” said FCN sports director Olaf Rebbe about the transfer. Hayashi is reinforcement for the weakest offensive in the 2nd Bundesliga (32 goals), the Japanese comes with the recommendation of twelve goals in 34 games in the past season.
In the FCN squad he will take the place of Erik Shuranov (21), who is moving to Maccabi Haifa, and Pascal Kopke (27), whose contract is expiring. With Kwadwo Duah (26), Christoph Daferner (25), Felix Lohkemper (28) and Jermain Nischalke (20), there are four other nominal center forwards in the squad – which is causing speculation in the TM community. “Only makes sense if Duah and Daferner are sold,” says Nuremberg fan “Terence_Chill” in relation to the Hayashi transfer.
