Top scorer of SpVgg Bayreuth
1. FC Magdeburg has won the courtship for Alexander Nollenberger. The 25-year-old comes from the third division club SpVgg Bayreuth, where he was the top scorer and top scorer with nine goals and seven assists. SC Paderborn 07 and SV Darmstadt 98 were also recently associated with Nollenberger.
“Alex received a good education from Bayern II and developed well in Bayreuth in the 3rd division. He’s a very variable player with good preparation and a good shot and we believe he’s capable of making the leap into the 2nd Bundesliga,” said sporting director Otmar Schork. Coach Christian Titz added: “With his enormous speed dribbling, Alexander brings an interesting component to our offensive game.”
