1. FC Kaiserslautern signed Julian Krahl from Viktoria Berlin

26 appearances for Viktoria

After the departure of Matheo Raab to Hamburger SV, 1. FC Kaiserslautern reacted to the goalkeeper position and signed Julian Krahl from league rival Viktoria Berlin. The 22-year-old was between the posts 26 times for the capital club last season and is moving to Betzenberg on a free transfer. The second division promoted did not provide any information about the term of his new working paper.

“We are happy that we were able to bring a great goalkeeping talent to Betzenberg free of charge in Julian and we are happy that he wants to take the next step in his development with us. With this commitment, we want to increase the competitive situation in the goalkeeping position and keep the level high in daily training,” said FCK Managing Director Thomas Hengen on Tuesday. Krahl added: “FCK has a brutal appeal that many other clubs can only dream of. From the first contact with the FCK management, I was completely convinced of this change and really wanted to go to Kaiserslautern. I’m looking forward to the club, the stadium and, above all, the fans.”
