A special sight in the city center of Den Helder: the crew members of all ships present at Sail walk the so-called Crew Parade through the city. Á la the Olympic Games, with a sign on the front stating who they are and where they come from. The Crew Parade can be seen live at NH until 5 p.m.

With the festive Crew Parade, the crew members introduce themselves to the city. The route starts at 4 pm at the former Rijkswerf Willemsoord near the Bonaire. The crew members then go via the Spoorstraat and the Keizerstraat to the Beatrixstraat. They walk down the street, turn around, walk all the way to the end at Julianaplein and then back towards Willemsoord. The Price Giving will take place on the stage of Sail on Stage at 5 pm.
Our reporter Kelly Blok presents the broadcast. Furthermore, more reports are being made today. A compilation of the Crew Parade will be posted online tomorrow morning, along with special images captured today with a 360-degree camera.
The event is expected to attract more than 200,000 visitors this weekend. All stories that NH makes about Sail can be found at www.nhnieuws.nl/saildenhelder.
