Anish Giri made short work of former winner Jorden van Foreest on the penultimate day of the Tata Steel Chess tournament. Playing with black, Giri was done with his compatriot after just 24 moves. This brings Giri’s points total to 7.5, the same as leader Abdossatorov who is still behind the chessboard. Van Foreest remains last with 4 points. Tomorrow the decision will be made who will win the prestigious tournament in Wijk aan Zee at the Masters.
