In Volendam, Raily Ignacio gave his AFC team victory. In the 74th minute, the attacker was accurate against the promises of Jong FC Volendam. Thanks to the victory, AFC is still in the race for the championship. The team from Amsterdam has 60 points from 29 games and seems to be fighting for the title together with Katwijk. Jong FC Volendam remains in second last place in the second division after the defeat.
In the second division, OFC had to bow to Noordwijk. The team from Oostzaan lost 3-0 to the mid-engine. Emiel Wendt scored two goals and Sem van Oosten scored once. OFC remains at the bottom of the second division after the defeat. With 18 points from 29 games, enforcement is getting harder by the week.
Loran de Munck just missed out on the prizes at the European Championships in Antalya. He finished fourth in the pommel horse. De Munck made two minor mistakes and therefore saw the podium pass by. At the previous European Gymnastics Championships, De Munck was the first Dutch gymnast ever to win a medal in the pommel horse.
