FC Twente would like to take over Carel Eiting from FC Volendam. The Tukkers have made an offer of 400,000 euros for Eiting, but Volendam thinks that is far too little. The club says it is entitled to an amount of around 2 to 2.5 million euros. Eiting and FC Volendam have been in disagreement for some time about the financial conditions for a transfer.
Two weeks ago, the parties already faced each other at the first hearing before the arbitration committee. The verdict was then that all parties had to approach each other to make the transfer possible. For the time being, that has not succeeded, so that it was announced on Monday that a second hearing had to take place. Some haste is called for, because the transfer market closes next Friday.
