At half past five, the municipality of Alkmaar announced the following about the demonstration of Ajax fans on the Waagplein:
The demonstration has not yet been reported to the municipality. We do not know whether the demonstration will go ahead or who or how many Ajax supporters will come. If people come to Alkmaar to demonstrate, we will allow that. In that case, we will ensure that they do not mix with AZ supporters present. An option is to facilitate the demonstration at a location in the city to be determined.
