AZ has strengthened itself with Ibrahim Sadiq. The 23-year-old Ghanaian comes over from the Swedish Häcken. He scored two goals for the team in the Europa League last night in the 3-1 win against Aberdeen. Häcken has therefore qualified for the group stage of the Europa League. In Sweden he won both the national cup and the national title. Sadiq has signed a contract in Alkmaar until the summer of 2028.
AZ previously strengthened itself with Denso Kasius, David Möller Wolfe, Ruben van Bommel, Alexandre Penetra and Tiago Dantas. The big question is of course whether the Alkmaarders manage to keep top scorer Vangelis Pavlidis. The Greek is emphatically in the interest of Seville.
