Zontes C125, futuristic custom

Zontes It is the leading sales brand of 125cc with gears in Spain. Since its arrival, its proposals have convinced more and more of its owners that they are before attractive models, technologically very complete and at an interesting price. Now comes the C125a custom willing to break the mold with a launch price of 3,087 euros with free third party insurance for one year (For over 21 years).

This is how Zontes lands in the category of 125 custom motorcycles, with a daring model with futuristic wickers with angular lines, a tank with a marked inclination, a two-level seat ending the motorcycle right at the rear end, a cylindrical barrel silencer and a rear fender attached to the wheel, among other aesthetic touches such as mounting a rear wheel with a smaller diameter and greater width that the front and forward rider footpegs (adjustable in two positions).

The C125 makes the difference with the rest of its 125 sisters with a chassis that is exposed, adopting a double cradle with multiple reinforcements in the area of ​​the steering head and with the engine forming a structural part when closing the lower cradle. The swingarm is also new with double arms and considerably longer, resulting in a wheelbase of no less than 1,480 mm, about 10 cm longer than its sisters.

In terms of suspension, it also has a different equipment with a conventional telescopic fork with the bars protected by rubber bellows, while behind we see a pair of shock absorbers with preload adjustment. The wheels have a new design of ten thin spokes simulating a spoked rim in sizes 16 and 16 inches shod with tires in sections of 120/80 and 140/70 respectively.

The seat height is only 700 millimeters, bringing this model closer to practically all users and offering novices extra confidence when stepping on the ground with more security. Regarding the brakes, it opts for a 300 and 230 mm disc with dual-channel ABS (acts on the front and rear wheels).

The Zontes C125 is powered by the in-house engine used by all models with liquid-cooled gearbox, four-valve cylinder head, injection developed by Bosch (version 8.0), slipper clutch and 6-speed gearbox. Offers a power of 14.7 HP at 9,000 rpm and torque of 13 Nm at 7,000 rpm with low CO2 emissions of only 49 g/km.

As an instrument panel we find a LCD screen with speedometer with large digits, lap counter with the useful area arranged horizontally, graphic levels of coolant and gasoline temperature, hour clock, total and partial odometer, and fuel consumption. Among the ten witnesses arranged on both sides of the screen, it is worth highlighting that of low tire pressure warning.

The equipment must also be highlighted since It has a proximity smart key in addition to backlit controls to help recognize them in low light conditions, arranging the ergonomic adjustment handles to adapt to the user.

The C125 features a double USB socket (connectors A and C) on the right with power of up to 18W, which allows fast charging of a mobile phone, while, on the left side, it includes a connection for electrical accessories such as GPS navigators, anti-theft devices or auxiliary headlights.

The new Zontes custom is now available at official dealers in three colors: matte blue, black and red. The launch price is 3,087 euros. And it includes free insurance for users over 21 years of age.
