BTS have a few more surprises in store for this year’s BTS Festa – the group’s annual anniversary celebration. In keeping with the occasion, the supergroup has announced a number of upcoming book releases.
On September 15th, BTS will release the officially licensed track “BTS Lyrics Inside,” in which RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook dissect the lyrics from their entire catalog. Songs from “Proof” and “Most Beautiful Moments in Life” are unraveled to reveal their deeper levels of meaning and hidden messages.
The collection includes “Boy With Luv” – the 2019 collaboration with Halsey – as well as “Life Goes On”, “Magic Shop”, “Spring Day”, “Yet to Come”, “We Are Bulletproof : the Eternal” and other tracks. The texts are presented in their original language, accompanied by English translations for ARMY members who wish to study and analyze the works on a deeper level.
Cooking with BTS
At the same time, the “BTS Recipe Book” will be published – a cookbook that draws inspiration from the group’s different album phases and collects recipes for aromatic Korean dishes. The repertoire ranges from toasted rice crackers and carp bread to sugar-filled pancakes, Korean fried chicken and braised rice cakes to ginseng chicken soup, braised beef short ribs and more.
Although these BTS projects initially exist on paper, they are also extended online. The “BTS Recipe Book” contains digital codes that ARMY can use to access exclusive videos about the book – including tips on how to prepare the dishes and comments from group members about the food. Some recipes may sound familiar: they have already appeared on the menu of the series “RUN BTS!”, “Bon Voyage” and “In the Soop”.
“BTS is a global force, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with CAKE to bring these unique, thoughtful books to their loyal and discerning fan base,” Running Press Vice President and Publisher Shannon Fabricant said in a statement. “Being able to provide these insights into the band’s music, preferences, experiences and more, especially in what has already been an extraordinary year for BTS, is particularly fulfilling.”
