Ukraine has exchanged draft agreements with some countries on providing it with security guarantees, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a interview Fox News channel.

He stressed that Kyiv would like to see leading states such as the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, Turkey among the guarantors. In addition, Ukraine would like China to join them. Israel and Ireland also expressed their desire to become guarantors, the president added.

“I mentioned the countries that declared their readiness to be guarantors or with whom we contacted and exchanged preliminary versions of documents,” Zelensky said.

According to him, he discussed this issue with President Joe Biden and said that Kyiv would like to see the United States among the guarantor countries. “We received a message that the United States is considering this proposal, considering it in a positive way,” Zelensky stressed.
