Cindy says that the PVV was constantly being thwarted by the other coalition parties and that it is therefore good that Wilders pulled a line.
After consultation with the party leaders of VVD, NSC and BBB, Wilders repeated his requirement for a stricter asylum policy this morning, with their explicit support. When it turned out that the other parties did not want to break open the outline agreement, the PVV leader saw no room for further cooperation. That is why he decided to pull the plug out of the coalition.
“Wilders stands for poverty, he wants poverty to be reduced,” Cindy continues. “I stand in front of that and that is the reason I have stood behind the PVV. I cannot see that someone else cannot eat sandwich. I just don’t think that is not possible in a country like the Netherlands. ”
Elections
Now that Wilders has left the cabinet, the Netherlands is heading for new elections. Cindy thinks the PVV will then become even bigger.
“I hope so I hope that everyone will stand behind Wilders and go back to the polls for the PVV. To show: we don’t agree and it should go as we had actually agreed from the start.”
