Yvonne Coldeweijer will start her daily program De Juice on Net5 after the New Year, but will in any case not promote it to her Talpa colleagues from Today Inside. “They hate me.”

What the men of Today Inside are for SBS 6, Yvonne Coldeweijer must soon become for Net5: the ruthless figurehead of the channel who knows how to score with very spicy opinions. A kind of Johan Derksen, but without a mustache and only about celebrities and related showbiz topics.

Not in VI

Do VI and Yvonne have common ground? Yeah, but she still won’t go on that show to promote her juice show. “If you look at the current TV faces, there are not that many people who are outspoken,” she says The Telegraph.

She continues: “You soon end up at Vrijdag inside. Even though those men hate me, I still think it’s a good program. I don’t dare sit there myself, because if someone doesn’t like me, I won’t go there.”

Show news 2.0

Yvonne wants to make just as spicy TV. That is why the start of her juice show has also been postponed. “I heard people say that postponement cannot be a good sign. But if your face is tied to the program, you have to make sure it is something that suits you.”

She continues: “The first version was too much like Shownieuws, but with me. I wasn’t looking for that. I want to expose the world behind showbiz.”

Much milder

It all becomes much milder than we were used to from her juice channel. “Initially I am not looking to score scoops. I first want to create a pleasant atmosphere at the table.”

Yvonne’s show will also not be live, so that the sharp edges can be edited out. “We are recording it a little earlier. It is the first time that I have made such a program. Who knows, I may say something wrong. No, we have no restrictions. I can give my opinion about everything. But I am now affiliated with a media company, so the facts have to be correct.”

Borsato bash

Who will certainly not spare them? Marco Borsato. “I would have loved to have been live with my program then. This was trial by media, but turned in the other direction. What I now saw is that people have taken Marco Borsato so close to their hearts that they almost no longer look at the facts.”

She concludes: “I hear things that other people don’t want to hear. In the ‘bag on the table’ conversation, in which the mother of the alleged victim confronts Marco with a diary, I hear someone who has been caught. If he is acquitted, he is a dirty guy in my opinion.”
