Various youth care organizations, care providers, academics and other youth care professionals today expressed their great concern about the recent concept note on youth care in an open letter to Flemish Minister of Welfare Caroline Gennez (Vooruit). According to them, the plan exudes a clear distrust of the sector. “Youth aid is not built with registration systems, but with people,” it says.
