It is early when my alarm goes off, but if you start on vacation for some reason always more float. I quickly put the last things in my suitcase and I leave for Roeselare to pick up my mama Anja. She is eager to stay in De Haan this week. She herself came on vacation for years with her husband and the two sons.
We start our day at the new tourism center at Vosseslag 131, where we park our car for free for the full day. Nice! Inside we look at the brochures of what De Haan has to offer. My eye soon falls on a virtual reality experience about the history of the millers. I take the brochure with me – it can come in handy later.
