Young man ends up with car in ice-cold IJzer in Diksmuide: “Could crawl out of vehicle himself”

A young man was particularly lucky on Tuesday evening after his car ended up in the IJzer in Diksmuide in West Flanders. The man managed to crawl out of his vehicle and into the icy water himself and escaped much worse. His car was removed from the water during Wednesday morning.
