Young Ajax plays a draw when visiting FC Eindhoven

Young Ajax drew 2-2 against FC Eindhoven in the last match of the calendar year. The second half in particular was very enjoyable for the neutral spectator with opportunities on both sides.

The visitors took the lead after just four minutes of play through a goal by Raphaël Sarfo. He shot in diagonally. FC Eindhoven soon leveled with a goal from Dyon Dorenbosch. After that there was little to do in the first half.

Against the relationship

The home team started the second half well. Thanks to a few excellent saves from Jong Ajax goalkeeper Tom de Graaf, the score remained 1-1. After FC Eindhoven’s clumsy loss of ball, Anass Salah-Edinne was able to dribble into the box. He handed the ball on a silver platter and Gabriel Misehouy was able to shoot in from close range.

The home team remained dangerous and the equalizer was in the air. Ozan Kukcu beautifully shot the 2-2 against the ropes. Both teams became much more dangerous in the second half. Jong Ajax substitute Yoram Boerhout came close to scoring twice, but both teams had to settle for a draw.

Young Ajax remains fifteenth in the first division.
