The couple reveals that they often eat foods with a small nuance of the Middle East.
Pomegranate is a good example of this. It is an important fruit for iman. Iman says the pomegranate apple is very healthy. The vitamins and antioxidants in the fruit are believed to protect cells and strengthen resistance.
-Pomegranate apple is an important raw material for me. One fruit becomes a surprising amount of food, Iman says.
The pomegranate has been associated with beauty, fertility and eternal youth.
Iman swears in the name of the pomegranate apple, so there is always pomegranate juice in the couple’s fridge. He hints that you can drink it as such, add to food, or make drink mixes.
“This wonderfully acidic and flavoring pomegranate salad can be scooped out of the bowl as such, serving meat, chicken or fish as a side dish or as part of a table where there are several different quotens,” says Leena.
Many consider peeling the pomegranate almost impossible. Here’s the easy tips of Iman:
Pomegranate salad
1 shallot chopped
0.5 dl lime juice
0.5 dl of olive oil
1 teaspoon running honey
0.5 teaspoon of finger salt
0.5 teaspoons of mild chilli flakes
1 pomegranate apple inseminated
Half cucumber to a small cube
half a pot dill chopped
half a pot mint chopped
1. Stir in Sandplace, lime juice, olive oil, salt, honey and chili flakes in a small bowl. Leave the onion to soften.
2. Mix pomegranate seeds, cucumber, dill and mint in a bowl. Add the shallot sauce and mix well.
3. Taste before serving and add salt, lime juice or chili flakes if necessary.
