World Winter Valhalla

Eigen Wij at Voorweg 112 will hold the free Christmas event World Winter Valhalla on Saturday, December 20. Expect crackling fires, marshmallows, pancakes, pea soup, worldly snacks, Christmas carols, a mini gift market and glitter tattoos.

To register for this free event is mandatory. With your ticket you are welcome on Saturday, December 20 between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

Folk Christmas singing in the Oude Kerk

Every year the Oude Kerk in Dorpsstraat organizes the folk Christmas singing. Everyone is welcome to celebrate this free gathering on Saturday, December 20 at 7:30 PM. A choir sings well-known Christmas carols with musical accompaniment from various instruments. Afterwards there will be hot chocolate on the church square.

Santa Evening Run

In the center of the city you can walk 2.5 kilometers in a Santa suit on Saturday evening, December 20, possibly decorated with lights during the Santa Evening Run. For children there is a 1 kilometer long children’s run. Parents can accompany the children, preferably dressed in Christmas suits, while running or walking.

Wrong Christmas music bingo

At 1892 Food and Drink there is a Christmas party on Saturday evening, December 20. From 8 p.m. the bad Christmas music bingo starts where you can hear classic Christmas bangers and win nice prizes. Afterwards is the afterparty with the DJ team from 1892.

Goodbye 2025 – Sjaak Bral

Fancy an evening of laughter with a look back at last year? Then go to the cabaret performance Vaarwel 2025 by Sjaak Bral in the Stadstheater. Two performances are scheduled for Saturday, December 20, at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM. There are several more tickets for sale.

Kiki’s Christmas market

Kiki at Franx closes the year on Saturday, December 20 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. with Kiki’s Christmas market. Shopping, oliebollen, hot chocolate, face painting, children’s activities, mulled wine, Santa Claus and live music. Kiki’s Christmas Market is a free event. You will find Kiki at Vlamingstraat 3.

Christmas Shopping City Heart

From Friday 19 to 21 December, the Stadshart will be all about Christmas. It starts on Friday between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM with the Christmas Shopping Night. Santa Claus will visit on Saturday, December 20 and the Kids Christmas Parade will pass through the City Center on Sunday, December 21. Christmas & More Singalong Farm

Sing Christmas carols together during the Christmas & More Singalong at the Boerderij pop venue. In addition to Christmas songs, you also hear Top 2000 classics. A band accompanies the audience and the lyrics can be read on a large screen. Sing along on Friday, December 19!

On December 20, the caravan center at Bleiswijkseweg 33 will transform into an attractive mini Christmas market. The creative businesswomen of Brand-it Deco, By Shona and SantaClaussShoppie sell handmade Christmas decorations, gifts, home accessories, jewelry and bags. While shopping you get hot chocolate or a glass of mulled wine. The Christmas market is open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
