A man from Boxtel has to be in jail for seven years when it is up to justice. He would have been involved in large -scale drug trafficking. This happened, among other things, through hidden spaces in vans. When dealing with the case, the public prosecutor did not wound it. “He drives an illegal, international trading company in the CocaeiMarkt.”

The investigation began in August 2024 after a tip via Meld Misdaad Anonymous (MMA). A report came in about the suspect who would act in drugs. For this, vans would be used with hidden spaces. The car company of the 47-year-old man from Boxtel served as a cover.

Camera images and blocks of cocaine
The Dutch investigation services searched in September 2024 the business shed of the suspect in Boxtel. There they found 7000 euros in cash and a hard drive with camera images from the building. It shows that the suspect and a co -suspect with marked kilo blocks lug cocaine and hide the blocks in vans. In total, the police had more than 200 blocks of one kilo each.

On a second visit to the shed, a month later, the police found a ‘leftover’ of 500 grams of cocaine and 19 kilos of hashish in a hidden room.

Van with secret cargo space
At the beginning of 2025, another shed of the suspect was extensively monitored. The man came there almost daily. When he was arrested in April, the police found a van with a large hidden space behind the passenger bank during the search. Ready to make a ride.

‘Missed opportunity’
According to the public prosecutor, the suspicious qualities to run an honest company has, but consciously chose a different path. “He works in a market that ensures undermining and corruption, which ensures cash flows in which the top and underworld are mixed with each other. A market also that we know as very violent, where rip deals, revenge actions and liquidations are the order of the day.”

The Public Prosecution Service has demanded seven years in prison and a fine of 7000 euros against the suspect. A long -term prison sentence would be the only suitable measure. “The suspect himself does not give openness. That gives me the idea of a calculating entrepreneur, who accepts imprisonment as an entrepreneurial risk,” said the public prosecutor.
