It was an impressive series that survived Noah Atubolu without conceding a goal. But a DFB professional has now messed up a new record for him.
The Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu has conceded a goal again after 609 minutes. The U21 national goalkeeper was overcome in the Bundesliga game at FSV Mainz 05 in the 34th minute by Jonathan Burkardt.
He had previously exceeded Richard Golz’s previous Freiburg record, but it was not enough for the Bundesliga record. The former Stuttgart keeper Timo Hildebrand, who remained 884 minutes without conceding a cross -season in 2003.
